American College of Education (ACE)

Your pathway to a master’s degree in education just got more affordable.

The Professional Development Institute, in partnership with the American College of Education, offers graduate-level, degree-eligible credit for PDI online courses. Enroll in a PDI flex course including university credit from ACE for only $385 through February 26th (regularly $435). Each course is worth 3 semester units of credit. Credit for PDI courses through ACE is typically used for credential renewal and/or salary advancement but can also be applied toward an advanced degree. Application toward an advanced degree is subject to ACE transfer credit policies, program applicability, and academic approval. Be sure to check with your district/state for their specific requirements.

ACE accepts up to 9 transfer credits from PDI toward select M.Ed. programs. With transfer credits applied, you can complete an advanced degree in as little as 12 months*, with total tuition of $7,400** or less, depending on the program.

What you need to know about obtaining graduate-level, degree-eligible credit from American College of Education

• Credit is only granted upon successful completion of all course requirements including the minimum course time requirement.
• You are required to spend a minimum of three weeks in EACH of your online courses. In other words, if you register for two online courses, you will be expected to spend three weeks in each course for a total of six weeks altogether. The timeline begins from the day you are enrolled and runs consecutively, not concurrently, when taking multiple courses. Completion paperwork will not be processed until the minimum timeline requirement has been met.
• Once you have met all the course requirements, PDI will post your final grade and forward your credit paperwork to ACE. You will be notified via e-mail from ACE that your grade has been posted at which time you may request a transcript through Parchment. The cost for an ACE transcript is $8 for a digital copy which is processed and delivered within hours. The cost to have an official transcript mailed is $10. Please allow 7-10 days to receive a mailed transcript. Parchment does offer options to expedite your transcript if necessary. Unofficial transcripts can be printed at any time at no cost via your Parchment student portal.
• Completed coursework with credit through ACE can be applied to specific programs as credit toward a general track focus of study or to fulfill elective requirements. Individual cost may vary based on program selection, transfer credit acceptance, satisfactory academic progress, or receipt of individual scholarship or grant funds.
