Do you need effective strategies for implementing the first grade Common Core Standards for Mathematics? This online course helps teachers understand and implement the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics at the first grade level, including both content and practice standards. By the end of this course, teachers have an in-depth knowledge of the standards as well as strategies and activities to support the standards at the first grade level. Teachers also gain information to assist in preparing students for the new Common Core assessments. This course is worth 3 ⅓ semester units/5 quarter units from UC San Diego Extension.
