Putting SDAIE Theory into Practice (2-8)/Flex Course

Are you struggling to provide content lessons to your English language learners? This online course provides teachers with a variety of SDAIE (Specially Designed Academic Instruction in English) strategies that can be used across content areas and grade levels. These SDAIE practices are the "scaffolds" that enable English language learners to access grade-level curriculum while simultaneously developing academic language. This course is worth 3 ⅓ semester units/5 quarter units from UC San Diego Extension. For detailed information on university credit, click here.

"The content and resources from this course were current, relevant, and fun! There were many wonderful ideas for implementation in the SDAIE classroom or any classroom!" - Joyce Bourdon
